The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has officially unveiled Serbian international, Milovan Rajevac as the new Head Coach of the Senior National Team, the Black Stars of Ghana.
He will be assisted by Coach Otto Addo and Maxwell Konadu.
Otto Addo is a scout and manager, and a retired Ghanaian-German footballer who played for Ghana internationally. He is currently the assistant manager of Borussia Dortmund.
Maxwell Konadu, however, is a football coach and a retired Ghana international football player. He was the head coach of the Asante Kotoko and was the manager of the Ghana national under-23 football team.
Richard Kingston retains his position in the technical team as the Goalkeeper’s trainer.
According to the FA, the contract holds that the head coach receives $30,000.00 monthly salary.
He has been tasked to improve the team, ensure that Ghana qualifies to the world cup and also wins the African cup of nations.
Key among the clauses in the contract is that there will be no agent for the coach nor the GFA as it used to be. Should the coach be found dealing with an agent as an intermediary with players, his contract will be terminated.
The coach is also expected to pay his own interpreter.
