USSUYA GHANA LIMITED GIVES TO COVID 19 THE SECOND TIME

Construction Firm Make Second Regional Donation Towards Covid-19

 

Ussuya Ghana Limited a major Road construction company based in Accra has made some donations to the Covid 19 Committee in the Upper West Region. This is the second time that the company is making such donations in the fight against the Covid 19 pandemic in the region. 

The items presented include ten (10) pieces of infra red thermometers, six thousand (6,000) nose masks, forty (40) pieces of face shields and hundred (100) bags of rice totaling one hundred and twenty thousand Ghana cedis(Ghc120,000). Presenting the items to the Ghana Health Service, the Upper West Regional Minister Dr Hafiz Bin Salih expressed his gratitude to the management of Ussuya company limited and said this been the second time of giving items to Covid 19 Committee in the region and described the management of  especially the managing director of the company Mr Yusif Yakubu Isuya as true son of the region for heeding the call of the regional Coordinating Council by coming to assist in the fight against the Covid 19 pandemic in the region. He called on others within and outside the region to emulate the shining example of Ussuya Company limited by responding to the clarion call to assist in the fight the Covid 19 pandemic. 

According to the Regional minister, the items received will be distributed to the Nandom Hospital in the Nandom municipality, Tumu hospital in Sisala East, Jirapa hospital in the Jirapa municipality, Nadowli hospital in the Nadowli/Kaleo district and Gwollu hospital in the Sisala East district. 

Receiving the items on behalf of the Ghana Health Service the Regional director of Ghana Health Service Dr Kuffuor Afreh said the items received will be put to good use since the arrival of the items was very timely. He said since the items involves some food items it will go a long way to assist in keeping quarantined Covid 19 positive patients well since quarantine must necessarily involve feeding  and keeping them healthy and in a sound health.
